Want to be part of an organisation that prides itself on the delivery of high quality care to over 450 older people? Do you have a track record of ethical selling? Are you looking for a new and exciting challenge where you receive financial recognition for your efforts? This is a newly created position within our organisation, reporting to the Director of Corporate Services and offered initially on a one year fixed term contract. If the post is successful and fulfills our expectations then the role will become permanent. Like many businesses, maximising income is absolutely essential for survival; which is why we are investing for the first time in our 45 year history in a dedicated ambassador for the services offered by the Abbeyfield Kent Society. The Occupancy Manager will work closely with the Area Business Managers, Home Managers and Media team. The role will be pivotal in reducing under-occupancy in our homes and promoting our services. Difficult work in difficult economic times we know but for the right person with commitment and drive the potential rewards will be high. We have developed a very generous reward structure which will allow the post holder to benefit directly from their efforts. In this respect it will be a unique post within our business. An established background in sales will be an essential requirement although this does not have to be from the care sector. In return, we can offer you a competitive salary and bonus package, a working week of 37.5 hours with flexibility, 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays) and a contributory pension scheme after a 6 month qualifying period. The successful candidate will also need to complete an Enhanced CRB disclosure. Based near Rochester and celebrating 45 years service in 2012, we are a major provider of residential care to older people in Kent. We have a turnover of £11+ million and employ over 530 staff with a further 120 volunteers. We are committed to outstanding care services, creating homes where people wish to live, and focusing on meeting their needs and aspirations.
