Flexi Care Workers

Location: Across Kent | Salary: £6.31 - £8.25 per hour

The Abbeyfield Kent Society is currently seeking Flexi Care Workers for our services across the county. You must be qualified to NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care to be considered for this post. You will be required to work closely with the Care Home Manager and Care Team Leaders to ensure appropriate cover for absences such as holidays or sickness and can be attached to one or more homes within the group. Duties will include: • Performing duties and tasks that supports service users to live in a safe and secure environment promoting independence, enabling informed choices in a respectful and dignified manner. • To be vigilant around the care and support needs of all service users, report any concerns assisting them to maintain their health and wellbeing. • To encourage service users to participate in social activities to avoid isolation and loneliness. • To follow policies and procedures and not to act outside of competency or breech professional boundaries. • To adhere to Health & Safety and Data Protection at all times.
