Flexi Care Workers
Location: Across Kent | Salary: £6.19 - £8.25 per hour
The Abbeyfield Kent Society is currently seeking Flexi Care Workers for our services across the county.
You must be qualified to NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care to be considered for this post.
You will be required to work closely with the Care Home Manager and Care Team Leaders to ensure appropriate cover for absences such as holidays or sickness and can be attached to one or more homes within the group.
Duties will include:
• Performing duties and tasks that supports service users to live in a safe and secure environment promoting independence, enabling informed choices in a respectful and dignified manner.
• To be vigilant around the care and support needs of all service users, report any concerns assisting them to maintain their health and wellbeing.
• To encourage service users to participate in social activities to avoid isolation and loneliness.
• To follow policies and procedures and not to act outside of competency or breech professional boundaries.
• To adhere to Health & Safety and Data Protection at all times.

Home Manager

We are currently recruiting for a suitably qualified, confident & competent Home Manager for our 44 bed FE/EMI residential service in Northfleet.
The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of the day to day running of the home and for delivering the highest standards of person-centred care to our service users.

Care Co-ordinator
Location: Connors House | Salary: £20,000 per annum
We are currently recruiting for a suitably qualified, confident & competent Care Co-ordinator for our large residential service in Canterbury; the successful applicant will work with and oversee the Senior Care team, deputise for the Home Manager in their absence, play a key role in achieving the highest quality of person-centred Care/implementing new policies and procedures, and take responsibility for project work.
