One of the residents at Woodgate residential home in Tonbridge has recently celebrated a special anniversary.
Woodgate resident Eileen has lived at Woodgate for 7 years, and this month celebrated the diamond anniversary of her marriage to husband Maurice.
The couple were married in 1952, and have five children (four boys and a girl), 13 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Before retirement, Eileen used to work for Waddingtons, a factory where children's games were made.
On the day Maurice visited Eileen at the home, bringing with him their card from the Queen, before the couple enjoyed a quiet day together at the home.
Everyone at Woodgate would like to congratulate Eileen and Maurice on their 60th Wedding Anniversary.
