Bea Rich, a resident at Greensted residential home in Wateringbury, recently celebrated her 101st birthday.
Bea was joined for the celebrations by friends and family, plus fellow residents from the home, who gathered in the homes lounge to toast the birthday girl and enjoy a slice of birthday cake.
Before the party was over, Greensted carer Maggie led the residents in a sing song in what is fast becoming a tradition at the home!
Louise Russell, home administrator at Greensted, said the party was a great celebration, commenting: "Bea is such a big character at Greensted, everyone was really looking forward to her party. It was a great day with a good turn out by friends and family. We're all looking forward to her 102nd!"
Greensted carer Maggie Town helps Bea cut her cake.
