Pupils from a local primary school visited Abbeyfield Greensted to sing Christmas carols.
Greensted residential home welcomed in pupils from Wateringbury Primary School, who sang Christmas carols to the residents.
The children sang some traditional carols, as well as some more modern Christmas songs, and then enjoyed some refreshments – giving them the chance to catch up with the residents.
Greensted residents were thrilled to see the children again, and it was less than a month ago that the children joined them in colouring Christmas pictures, playing board games, making Christmas cards with volunteers and staff and having a chat with cakes and juice.
Louise Russell, home administrator at Greensted commented: “It’s such a treat to have the children visit the residents at the home. The residents and children have great friendships, which have been developing over the year. The whole home have loved hearing the children sing and we are all feeling very Christmassy now we have heard the school choir!”
