Residents at Edward Moore House, part of The Abbeyfield Kent Society, were visited from Gravesend’s Salvation Army Band, who wished them a very happy Christmas by playing festive songs.
Staff at Edward Moore House, a residential home in Gravesend, organised an extra special event for residents to get them into the festive spirit, so contacted the Gravesend Salvation Army Band to arrange a visit.
A large group of residents gathered to watch the performance, which was enjoyed by all. John Ogbe, Edward Moore House manager comments: “I was very excited to see the Salvation Army Band perform at the home and it was great for the residents to enjoy themselves so much. We have all been left feeling very Christmassy! We are very grateful to The Salvation Army Band for coming to visit, and look forward to working with them in the future.”
