Residents at Woodgate, a residential home in Tonbridge, celebrated Easter with a special fete at the weekend.
The Easter Fete was planned by staff at the home in consultation with residents, who had an input into all the events. A range of special activities were laid on for guests, including Easter egg hunt, fancy dress competition, name the baby and guess how many balloons in the car!
In addition to the games, staff, family members and friends pulled together to contribute homemade cakes and biscuits, cards and jewellery to sell on the day.
Entertainment was provided by local singing due Unique, who performed songs from a variety of eras in the home's lounge and had all the attendees singing and clapping along.
Residents invited friends and family along to join in on the day, and the event was well supported by the local community. In addition to the other fun and games, a raffle was held on the day which contributed to the total of £315 which was raised.

Woodgate's Home Administrator Nicole Tinklin was delighted with the way the event went, commenting: "The day was a great success and would not have been so without the help of everyone who took part in the build up and on the day. Helen, Hayley and Emma did a great job and all the residents are very grateful. We're all already looking forward to next year!"
