EDWARD MOORE HOUSE EARNS PRAISE FROM KCC
Edward Moore House has earned praise in a Kent County Council report.
Inspectors from KCC’s Kent Adult Social Services Directorate said that Edward Moore House in Trinity Road “has a warm, comfortable and calm atmosphere where residents appeared to be happy and well presented.
“Staff were observed respecting residents’ privacy and interacted with them well.”
Says Director of Care Felicity Somerville: “It is always pleasing to receive positive comments like this from an independent, fully-qualified inspectorate, and our regulators and stakeholders.
“We are constantly striving to improve the services we offer, and are committed to helping residents lead enhanced, active and fulfilling lives, free from worry and insecurity in a nurturing environment.”
The KCC Quality Assurance Monitoring report also commented on Edward Moore House’s “open visitor policy, and relatives and friends are encouraged to take part in the activities provided in the home.
“Residents were all well dressed and staff were seen to knock on residents’ doors before entering their room. Staff were seen interacting with the residents with dignity and respect.”
