Who Cares?

Make a one off donation to the Society’s ‘Who Cares?’ campaign. The campaign raises funds to support residents who can no longer afford the cost of care and can face being moved to another care home, potentially miles away from friends and family. The bursary fund will ensure that the resident can remain in their care home and provide peace of mind. 

Who Cares? is also raising awareness of loneliness, isolation and boredom and is campaigning to improve the outlook for older people in wider society. Did you know? 

• A quarter of older people say they have no best friend.
• The population of over 65s is increasing by 6,000 every year.
• The number of care home places would have to rise by 150% over next decade to cope with elderly population.
