Michelle is home administrator at Connors House residential home in Canterbury. It’s a job which keeps her very busy but she is in training to compete in the Royal Parks Foundation Half Marathon later in the year.
In preparation for the Royal Parks Foundation half marathon, Michelle recently ran the Bluewater 10k; completing the race in a respectable one hour three minutes. Michelle commented: “I feel proud to be running in support of The Abbeyfield Kent Society’s initiative Who Cares? The money we all raise will ensure that our residents will not have to worry when their funds deplete as Abbeyfield Kent will be able to support their continued care in their home. Training for the Royal Parks Half Marathon has totally turned my life around and I am grateful to Abbeyfield Kent for allowing me to run. I am excited about the race day and feel so happy that I am doing something positive to help our residents.”
